About Us

Reliable Management was established in 1972 by Ernest Phillips.  Mr. Phillips is a Real Estate Broker and Certified Property Manager.  He is currently retired but still a great inspiration for our company.  Pate Greening is currently the Broker for the business, co-owner and managing agent.  He has been a part of the Reliable family for 20 years.  Kathy Scott went to work for Reliable in 1994 where she managed property for a number of years.  Recently, she has partnered with Pate to bring the awesome realty management services of Reliable Management to College Station/Bryan Texas.  Keller Williams is Kathy's broker for Real Estate sales.

In 2007, Pate Greening and John Spivey acquired the company. Due to our steady growth, we have moved three times over the last four years to larger facilities.  We moved to our newest location at 707 N. Green in April of 2011.   Mr. Greening was Property Supervisor under Mr. Phillips for the prior 16 years.  Several staff members have been with our company for over 10 years.

Our company specializes in residential property management.  However, we do manage some commercial spaces as well.  We currently manage property in Longview, Tyler, Chandler, Gladewater, Gilmer, Tatum, Hallsville, Union Hill, White Oak, Henderson, Bettie, Kilgore and Bryan / College Station.  Our company is a member of the Texas Apartment Association, National Apartment Association, Greater Longview  Area Apartment Association, and the Texas Board of Realtors. We are also a member of the Longview Chamber of Commerce.  Mr. Greening has served on the Board of Directors for the Texas Apartment Association since 1996. He also served as president of the Greater Longview Area Apartment Association from 1998 to 2000 and again in 2002.

Our staff has won numerous awards including Property Manager of the Year, Assistant Manager of the Year, Member of the Year, and Maintenance Technician of the Year several times over the last 4 years from the Greater Longview Area Apartment Association.  We were recognized as a favorite place on Google for 2009.

We are a proud sponsor of the Gregg County Rodeo and the World Championship Barbeque Cookoff at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.  We help support the Highway 80 Rescue Mission, the Food Pantry and Toys for Tots annually.
